Questions:

As we finish up the book of Daniel we see that this book is loaded with fantastic and amazing feats of God that were done through the courage and faithfulness of men. Last week we finished up with the courage of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendago. This week we will see more of the amazing ways that God was able to use Daniel. However as you are reading I would like to draw your attention to chapter 4 and how God humbled King Nebuchadnezzar. As you read verses 34-37, call me crazy, but I would not be surprised to meet King Nebuchadnezzar in heaven. Despite of all the evil he had done earlier, this sure sounds like a testimony of faith to me.

There is so much more in Daniel I could mention, but I want to say a little about Hosea as well. Hosea was given a very difficult task from God. He was told to find and marry an unfaithful wife, Gomer, so that God could show through Hosea how even though Israel was like God's bride, she was unfaithful and for that would be brought low, but that with repentance she could be restored! By executing this task with integrity and love Hosea shows what a man of God he was as well!
