Here I am writing to you from Michiana Christian Service Camp. A wonderful place to contemplate the greatness of God and His creation. As I am doing that I am also struck by the greatness of God's plan which he revealed to us through the Bible. Specifically this week in Isaiah. During this week you will read one of the most incredible evidences that God really did write the Bible. Now we all knew that, but it's still awesome to see. In this week's passage we will not only see God revealing His plan to send Judah into exile into Babylon to Isaiah but He also reveals to Isaiah by name the king that will send them back. Even though Isaiah wrote this between 700 and 681 B.C., and Cyrus sent the remnant back to Jerusalem sometime after 530 B.C., approximately 150 years after Isaiah. Wow, God is great!
