Questions:

As we continue on through Isaiah this week we will again be going through a lot of information, but some really amazing things. One of my favorite chapters is 25 which speaks of how great God is and faithful to his people. I especially like the first verse! It would be a great wall plaque!

As you read this week remember that Isaiah's prophesies are regarding different time periods, some the near future some as far ahead as the
second coming of the Messiah, but he does have some common themes that
are good to note. One example is, he regular reminds us that it is always better to rely on God for our rescue and salvation rather than our own strength or the strength of others (Egypt etc.).

In chapter's 36 through 38 we again revisit King Hezekiah and his conflict with Sennacherib. Hezekiah is one of my favorite Kings in the Bible. Like David he was not perfect, but he knew who God was and who he should rely on! I especially like his prayer in chapter 37 verses 18-20. I think that we should prayer a variation of this prayer ourselves every time life seems to be overwhelming!

Again, read carefully there is a lot of good stuff in here!
