Questions:

This week I need to do a little explaining. The website was set up to have the reading down by chapter not verse, however this week we are going to be doing the longest chapter in the Bible.

So in the reading it shows that the reading for June 22nd is all of Psalm 119, which is about 3 times our normal reading.

So if you want to you can split up Psalm 119 over 2 to 3 days. Psalms 120 through 126 are all pretty short so the object is to be finished with Psalm 126 by the end of the week, and you can break it up however you want.

Hopefully that is clear!

The main thing that I want you to think about this week is how much the writer of Psalm 119 is consumed with the word of God. He praises God continually for His word and clearly loves it. I don't think that it is a coincidence that God inspired this writer to write the longest book in the Bible about this subject, or that He inspired the compilers of the Book to put this chapter right in the very middle of the book, because we too need to be "centered" on God's word!

Isn't God amazing!!!
