Questions:

As we continue our reading through Psalms one thing that always strikes me is the level of emotion that the Psalm writers exhibit. Whether they are joyful, scared, angry, or sorrowful they put their feelings right there for us to see.

That is what I find remarkable about Psalms. That these people were inspired by God to write down their deepest emotions and thoughts as songs or poems because God knew that these thoughts and experiences would be valuable to us as well centuries later.

With that in mind I "challenge" you this week to take the time to write down a prayer to God, you don't have to make it a poem or a song unless you want to. But write down a prayer to God from your heart where you are today and then keep it.

Who knows what God may use it for?
