Questions:

As I warned last week, we are picking up the pace as we now enter what are going to be a stretch of books written by the Apostle Paul. Paul described himself as the "Apostle to the Gentiles", and although he preached and converted many Jews it was his willingness to also preach God's redemption to the Gentiles which is what he is best known for.

The book of Romans is a classic example of that in that it was written to God's church in Rome of which the majority were Gentiles. The book contains an excellent witnessing tool known as the "Roman's road" and consists of 5 scripture passages which we can put in our "tool box" to use to witness to someone. They are listed below with a shorthand statement of what they say:

1. Romans 3:23 - "All have sinned and fall short of God's glory
2. Romans 6:23 - The wages of sin are death but God gives us eternal life through Jesus
3. Romans 5:8 - While we were still sinners Christ died for us!
4. Romans 10: 9 - If we proclaim Jesus as Lord and believe that He was raised from the dead we will be saved.
5. Romans 6: 3,4 - As Christians through baptism we are reborn into a new life with Christ

If you are looking for scripture verses to memorize these are a great place to start!
