DECEMBER 31ST READING - Revelation 21 and 22 (YOU DID IT!) Well congratulations! If you are still reading along this is the last week and we are on pace to finish strong. As you can see up above we have 8 days left and the program only allows me to input 7 days at a time so the last day's reading is above! We are finishing up with some really good passages. In 1 Peter 5: 8 and 9 is a great passage for fighting temptation and some of you will probably recognize it from an evening message from camp that involves a lion mask and a screaming child! (All in fun, no children are actually scared in the presentation of this message!). In 1 John 1:8 and 9 is a great passage for using with people that we are witnessing to. It clearly explains that we are all sinners, and it's not stopping sinning that purifies us, but confession of our sins then God's Grace as he forgives us our sins! Finally we are finishing up with the book of Revelations. What can I say about Revelations that hasn't been said, discussed, argued over, and dissected? Not much! So I am going to end the year with a quote from one of my favorite Cathedral's songs and now all of you can not only say it, but after this week you can actually mean it" "I'VE READ THE BACK OF THE BOOK AND WE WIN!!"
